When you call smith and wesson to get spare parts, what info do you need, to make sure you are able to get them? I want to get a few spare parts but i want to make sure ahead of the call that i have proper info, numbers ect...

most likely just the serial number or model number will suffice.

what is it you are trying to have spare of if i may?

I wanted to see about getting an extra bolt carrier group and barrel extension(the part with the ejector) and a few other parts.

I've ordered a couple of parts.......recoil spring, hammer spring......I asked how much $ for the particular springs for the 15-22 and they asked for my address and sent me the springs. No other questions asked. Free. Gotta love S&W Customer Service! If my sub-sonic conversion works out, I'll be ordering another bolt assembly. If it works out, I'll have a quick swap to go from standard and HV ammo to subsonic with just a change of the bolt. I really don't expect to get another assembly for free. I'll gladly pay the price if I get it running though.

Hmmm... I want spare parts for everything. Maybe they'll just ship me out a spare 15-22... (dreaming)
