Once again, I will enter the Pasadena convention center in search of the elusive bargain 686+, uncommon vintage 1903A3, rare vintage 98K, and non-existent vintage Israeli Mauser. Anyone else go to the Pasadena, TX shows? If so, what do you usually look for?

Does anyone know what happened to the nice long haired old guy that sold milsurps? I hope that he is still with us.

I attended it once about 6 or 7 years ago. It was not that impressive as gun shows go, but not terrible either. If I remember I did pick up a very nice Ruger Single Six in .22 at a good price, but I no longer have the gun. I passed on a 9mm camp rifle that I wish I had picked up. Other than that I did not see much of interest there.

Its been at least 12 years since I've been to one there. Loved the show. If we are thinking of the same gent? he passed away a number of years ago. He was out of Illinois I think?

I've always enjoyed the show in Pasadena. The shows at the GRB were too much hassle for me.

I remember about 30 years ago a boatload of "re-arsenalled" Israeli '98's in .308 were $99 from "Old Sacramento Armory" or somesuch. I was set to order a few and they bumped them to $129+ the $6 UPS so I passed. Good luck, never know what will appear at a gunshow. Joe
