I picked up a round Smith & Wesson Firearms Training Academy patch at a flea market. It has the logo in the middle with an eagle above and around it. It has "1969" under the ribbon saying firearms training and above the bottom ribbon saying academy. Is this from a class in 1969 or was the Academy founded in 1969?
