Fossile Bone Grips

Patrick made these Alaskan Fossil Bone grips a couple of years ago for my M28s. He told me it would chancy cutting into the 25000 yearold material but if I was willing to take a chance he would see what he could do. The results, as you can see are outstanding! Patrick is an artist and a super guy to deal with. I have 4 sets of his work and plans for more.

A great man

I'am the proud owner of two grips from Patrick.
One for my 19 2.5" and the other one for my 4" mod 29.
They both display wonderful craftmanship.
What is more, Patrick and Rose are wonderful people.
I am very proud to call him friend.

Here are few pics of my 27-9 with a set from Patrick's. I think they are pretty sharp on this nickel .357. I will say they fit well and are functional as well. Patrick was a pleasure to do business with could not be more pleased. This 27-9 is a new addition my jury is out on if it needs a little work on the action and not sure if i like the target trigger? Double action pull seems a little heavy compared to my 27-8 and pre-27. Many fine side arms here with Patrick's grips on them.

Grashorn grips

He did the grips for my little fun Smith ...they came a bit too white for my taste and I put them in a mild tea solution overnight to age them a bit.

I'm a little late to this party. I don't have any Grashorn stags on my revolvers but I do have a few sets for 1911s, including these mounted on my Colt Compact. I think they set off the high polish and blue perfectly.
