Pawn shop find-GP100 4" half lug (P.O.'d at myself)

I'd seen this gun 3 or 4 months ago at this shop I don't frequent, but went in today. Priced at $599; way high of course, and this corporate-owned chain isn't much for wheeling and dealing. The manager was working the gun counter and I asked to see it. Well, here it is. $399 OTD. I knew I shouldn't have gone in there, especially after I just picked up that 3" SS model. I guess I'll be doing some cleaning tonight. And probably putting some full size factory grips on it. They're the older 2-piece style, and I found them the other day looking for something else and have no idea where they came from.

I AGREE olivehead1. IMHO, YOU SHOULDN'T HAVE GONE IN THERE.....

ALSO IMHO, YOUR BIGGER TACTICAL ERROR WAS GOING OTD WITH THE GUN.....

At that price I wouldn't leave it behind. I really like those 4" half lugs especially the blued version. Very nice.

I had one of the re-patriated stainless ones like yours a few years back. I cam very close to grinding off the paragraph on the barrel but sold it instead. It was an RCMP gun.

What a nice find at a fair price. The half lugged barrels are great.
The only non Smith & Wesson revo in my stable is a GP100 and it's a keeper. Enjoy!

Seems the really nice ones or really good deals come in batches all at same time frame. I will look around not find anything worthwhile for months then bam,all the sweet ones come out of woodwork. Too much shock for the wallet. Nice find at a great deal!
