Making my pawn shop rounds this morning and saw this 15-3 in the case. Priced at $300+ tax. Couldn't pass it up. I've now got the grips with the first coat of Tung oil. Gun is pretty pristine with a faint turn line but otherwise like new. Don't see many 2" M15's. Never own a M15 before. I have a couple of 38 masterpieces in 6". Best I can tell from the SCSW is 1977. SN is 12K08XX.

What a deal! I've been looking for the right deal on one of those for awhile. Don't think I'll find one like that. Congratulations!

Great purchase! IMO, model 15's are the BEST deal in high quality vintage revolvers out there. If Warren Buffett was really smart, he'd be buying up model 15's! :D Congrats on your new vintage revolver.

Some folks don't like to report what they paid and others consider it rude to ask.
This thread would have been rather common had you kept the price to yourself, but you didn't and that makes this a jewel.

What a smoking deal, good for you!! :D

I agree. It is not rude to ask a paid price if you post your buying experience. You paid a true "rescue" price at a pawn shop, rather then some guys that will pay twice value just because it is there... (you can't buy them all). It's not like you told everybody your wife's age... (which of course is a secret...)

That's the only thing good about all the plastic semi autos. So many youngsters thing they need to be tactical. Leaves a lot good wood and blue revolvers for us wheel gun lovers.

Congratulations go out to you on that 1! I have wanted a 2", 15 for quite a while. The closest I could come is a 10-5, RB 2". Great little gun. Bob
