Pay it forward - EoTech XPS hood

Anyone need an extra EoTech XPS (not EXPS) hood for their XPS?

I recently bought an "Opmod" version of the EXPS - called EoTech to ask how I could remove the obnoxious OPMOD logo plastered all over it and the guy said it was laser etched and could not be removed. He did say he'd send me a new regular one for free - however when it came it was for an XPS model. Talked to him today to see about exchanging it and he informed me that replacing the hood on the EXPS is more complicated due to the side mounted buttons and suggested I live with it - which I think I will. He said to just "trash" the hood rather than sending it back - but I can't do that.

So I'm asking if anyone here legitimately needs a spare hood for an EoTech XPS. Not to sell it - I could do that myself. Just trying to give back to the community here. If you really need an extra hood - pm me your info and I'll send it to you.

ps - wasn't sure if this would be better in the M & P 15 forum or not - so if mods feel it's better there - please swap it over. Thanks!

I'd be glad to take it off yer hands, but then I'd be too tempted to get the innards for it!!

Gonna spend this month's 'gun allowance' on 2 drop in TGs and maybe Feb or March I'll be able to afford an EOTech sight!
