Well, according to the website they are indeed calling it that, but the pictures on the site don't seem to show a PC logo on the pistol itself. Also interesting is that the website's pictures look just like the pistol I have, my gun has a July-2012 born-on date, but the OP's pictured pistol appears to have slightly different lettering on the left side of the pistol.
Every other bit of the gun does look the same from the left side.
Any chance of a picture of the other side of the pistol?
I'd like to add -- and I hate that I may come off as rude when I say this, as being rude is not my intention whatsoever, but simply for the purpose of clarity and discussion, I have to say it: the Performance Center is dead, it doesn't exist in the form that most of us knew it. The true Performance Center was in it's own facility and a separate group of folks from the production guns. This particular pistol was never a true PC gun back when the PC did still exist, and the PC is nothing more than a logo and a sales gimmick these days. The PC guns of today have different options and "upgrades" from the base guns, but they are not built like true PC guns from the 1992-2008 era.
The older guns were hand fitted works of art. The PC guns of today are production guns.
