Okay, here's one that should have been obvious to S&W, a Performance Center Model 439. I often wondered years ago, when I was a PPC shooter, why S&W built the Stock-Service pistol (DPA or PC-5906) and PPC guns (5 and 6-inch) on the 5906 frame. After all, you could only load 6-rounds per magazine. I've read of some PPC guns being built on the 952 but never seen one. So, why didn't they ever build a modern PC 39 series?
After shooting my, new to me, 39-2 today I remembered how good these guns fit my hand and shoot. So S&W, please build a modern 439. I wish it to be the alloy frame, carbon steel slide, match barrel with Briley bushing, 4-inch, Novak sights, de-cock only, traditional double-action, round trigger guard, checkered front and back-strap, real wood grips, and loving built in the Performance Center. Did I leave anything out?
Since they're still making 952s, this ought to be easy.
