I have a 442 which I love from a function standpoint but I'm not really into the high polished screws, thumbpiece, and flutes, and maybe trigger. I've replaced the thumbpiece and the 2 side plate screws with black to tone it down a bit. Is there anything i need to know before I swap out the yoke screw or is it just a drop in part? If I change out the trigger to a black or case handed will I wreck the Performance Center tuning or is most of their work done on the sear and other parts? I'm undecided on what to do with the cylinder. It's stainless so the simplest option would be to bead blast the flutes to match the rest of the cylinder. I've also thought about Cerakoting or having Wright Armory Black Nitride it. Any thoughts or suggestions? Another thought I've had was changing the cylinder out entirely. Would a titanium cylinder from one of the .357 J-frames fit and function? Losing an ounce or two wouldn't be the worst thing in the world for carry.
Thanks!
Mike

Easiest route will be to pick up a 442 cylinder assembly off EBay. It should drop in. Use a revolver range rod to check the bore/chamber alignment and you will be good to go.
