PC 627-5 front sight

Finally found a company that will make me a tritium front sight, and has a fiber optic I can use while they make it.

I was just wondering what direction I need to tap the sight out of the dovetail. Usually it doesn't matter but I'd hate to mess up a 1500 dollar revolver from smacking it the wrong way with a hammer.

Can I ask who you found? I also have that weapon.

Push the front sight back towards the cylinder. Lift up the front of the sight, and pull it out. Coming out isn't too bad, but putting a new one in can be a struggle. Each gun is a little different. I've also had to file a little on a new front sight, so it would fit in.
