Anyone have a picture of them? I'm pretty sure my 58 has them on it but I'd like to see what they actually look like.

Well, after I put this post up I did a search and found a picture of them. Yes the gun does have pc magna grips on it and to top it off they are the same serial number that is on the gun!

That's actually very good...many 58's supposedly came from the factory with grips that weren't the same number.

I have a 58, but it has elk stags...PC magna style!

G-mac, if you can would you post up a picture of that gun? I'd kinda like to see those grips. Bet it's beautiful.

Chris,

I only have an old picture of the gun, before I got the stag grips from the Executioner. I'll take a new picture and post it in this section soon...

I was just looking on gunbroker at model 58's and noticed that having the original box seems to be a big thing. So, I guess it means something that I have the original box with my gun. All those years Dad ignored Mom while she griped about him being a packrat!
I guess now I need to buy a manual to go with it. Then I will have a complete set!
I keep reading about people sending off for the letter on their gun, can anyone tell me more about this?
Chris

S&W offers a service were you can get a factory letter from their historian, Roy Jinks. The cost is $50.

Your letter will contain a brief history of the Model 58, as well as where and when you particular revolver was shipped.
