'PC' Magnas?

Excuse me but I must have missed this. Just what does the PC really stand for?

So far I've read it means;
A- Plain Clothes , the ones with rounded corners. Less likely to 'print' under or wear holes in a suit/sport coat.

B- Politically Correct , the square cornered , flat bottomed grips on police guns often got brass or aluminum plates for use as ID plates , or truncheons. Rounding the corners prevented this.

C- Performance Center , ???

B of course is the buzzword of the last 15 years, for fear of offending someone....which annoys the living daylights out of me.

Actually, none are correct if you are talking about "Modified Magnas" which is the earliest, first factory description of this pattern service stock.

This from the 1952 Centennial Catalog.

Ha! I haven't posted here for months but needed to here. Sebago Son made me take an oath several years ago never to refer to them as PC. He lives near by, so I take that oath seriously.

Thank you Drew. And it isn't a pencil barrel, it's called the standard taper as opposed to the bull barrel.
