I bought my Shield 9mm 2.0 PC a couple of months ago. I bought the non-ported RDS version. I was really interested to see how well the RDS worked on the Shield. I am very happy with the results. The Shield RDSc sight has held zero and seems to be plenty durable, assuming I don't use the pistol as a hammer or boomerang. After sighting-in, it co-witnesses with the iron sights perfectly. I have had no malfunctions of any kind and have been quite happy with the groups shooting out to 15 yards. I made one ragged hole at that range.
It took me a bit to get used to finding the red dot quickly. I had to fight the urge to line it up with the iron sights each time I shot it. Once my mind began to accept that the red dot is on target when you see it, regardless of the alignment of the iron sights, I began to get some excellent speed and accuracy out of it. I'm so happy with the 9mm that I may get a .45 as well. I have the standard Shield 9mm and .45 ACP with the shorter slides and barrels. The 4" PC version conceals every bit as easily as the others. I recommend them highly.
