Since I recall a few threads about this on occasion of earlier seasons, and several members were watching, just a heads-up if you missed it:

"Peaky Blinders", the British 1920s gangster series which a friend of mine has called "Downton Abbey's Evil Twin", had its 5th season released on Netflix last week.

I just found out and have only watched the first episode, but it appears to keep up the dark standards of previous seasons. So don't expect comic relief ;)

If you're not familiar with it, you might give the earlier seasons a try, especially if you like old British revolvers:

Season 5 made us quit the series. It was heading downhill in our opinion and this confirmed it.

Couldn't get through the first episode. Sad...since it used to be a pretty decent show. Too much style and not enough substance.

Just our opinion. Others may feel differently.

I watched all six episodes of season five. It becomes interesting. Lots of historical tidbits thrown in as well.
