I would appreciate some opinions and feedback about my PC 4566CQB and my 4563CQB.
Im selling one of these pistols to my best friend and I just can not decide on which one to keep and which to sell.
I actually wish I was not selling to him because I know I could get more if I put one on a gun action but he really wants it and its nice to know its going to a friend.
They both have there pro's and con's: Both the 4566CQB and the 4563CQB are New in Box, they both have very low serial #'s.
The 4566 is all stainless which is nice and is a little heavier which is better for recoil but not for carry.
The 4563 is Black and has a lower seriel # "0034".
I believe there were only 100 of the Blk 4563CQB's ever made and is slightly more rare than my 4566CQB.
I would truly appreciate some opinions on which one you guys would sell and keep, I have been going back and forth for a few weeks and I know I will never find one of these pistols NIB again. I would just keep them both but I already told my buddy I would sell him one.

Thanks Much, Happy New Year and God Bless.

I should have such friends as yours has!

If you're having trouble deciding between the two, here's what I would do:

1. Ask him which one he wants most, and when he tells you, then sell him the other one.:D

OR,

2. Ask him which one he would keep if he were you, and when he tells you, sell it to him.:D

Seriously, though: he must be a good friend for you to want to let him purchase one of these collectible and valuable pistols. I'd just lay it out for him, that you're having trouble deciding, and -- money aside, since this is between friends -- tell him you want him to help you decide. Since both pistols are NIB, perhaps what he intends to do with his will factor into the equation; i.e., if he plans on shooting it, instead of maintaining it as a collector's piece, perhaps that will tell both of you which of the two pistols should go to him (i.e., the one that you could bear to know was not brand-new any more.)

On the other hand, if you're both wanting to keep the pistols as collector's items only, maybe there's less to have to work out about them.

Be sure to arrange "visitation privileges" for yourself in any event!

Good luck...

the alloy frame is much more friendly in the area of carry weight.

the black finish on your alloy gun is not very durable in the area of holster wear on both the slide and frame. I am speaking for a duty carry experience where I put an alloy 2 tone to the test. The black magic finish was removed in certain areas of the slide. my gun was not pretty after 5 years of carry, but it still worked.

if you plan to shoot it alot, the STS frame will hold up better than the alloy frame.

if you plan to just look at it, wrap it in a soft baby diaper and only allow those to touch it who has gone through some type of proper handling training, I would keep the black one.

I had both at one time and I preferred the alloy one. I put alot of rounds down range, it ran good, it was not pretty.

Thanks for your reply SW CQB 45, I sent you a PM.
Vigil617 my friend gave me his opinions on both pistols and he is very honest, he said whatever I decide he would be happy with either pistol.
Like you said Vigil617 he already agreed to Visitation Rights!
Whichever I do decide to sell Ill still have sellers remorse.
Thanks for the responses.

whichever one you decide to keep....

with the money... try and find a shooter grade CQB or a 4566 for something to shoot.

then you can keep your CQB NEW.

I actually had a two-tone 4563CQB that had a low round count that I sold last year.
But yea it would be good to get another CQB Shooter.
