This Talo performance center 642-II will become my backup carry piece once put a few rounds through it. Also while I was at the shop picking this up found another interesting 1911. It is an Armscor Tactical 22tcm/9mm combo, Comments and opinions are welcome.

As to the Armscor, a friend of mine has a .45 and loves it if that is any help. I also watched a sheriff department swat team on a youtube video with the 22 tcm and they loved it.

From the research that I have done the 22TCM will be a great caliber. I am very anxious to shoot both barrels and see how they perform. Also I believe that 642II is really going to be one of those guns that I have with me constantly.

642

I was lucky enough to stumble upon 2 of those 642's just as my dealer was putting them out. I bought both. They have the best j frame triggers I have ever pulled. They look great too. One is my edc , the other I just keep in the safe as a back up

Good call, but you need a 3rd in case the first one goes into the shop or into evidence. That way, you still have a 642 and a backup. I didn't make this up: I read it in the late Stephen A. Camp's book on Airweight J-Frame Revolvers. A must read.

I don't think its possible to have too many J-frames. But, three is a good start.:D

Let me not be misconstrued. I said three 642's, NOT three J-frames! ;)

In that case, I'm behind.

Not really, I've "upgraded," the 642(s) don't see much use anymore.;) But, with that said, I still thought about picking up a PC 642II. They are smooth.
