Performance Center 66-1

Hello I have a 66-1 that was sent to the Performance Center for some enhancements. Does S&W keep track of any upgrades to a particular handgun in the history report?

is if there is any way to verify that the Performance Center actually worked on this revolver

I called once and asked if one of my revolvers had their action work done and was told that there was no way for them to tell.

Were I you I'd call and see if you get a different answer.

If you don't mind, what mods were done to your 66-1? Regards 18DAI

It was the Combat Revolver package. Bead blast finish, action tuning, trigger stop, and chamfer charge holes. All for only $250!!!!!

Some of that work is visually obvious to the most casual observer.

i.e. somebody did it or somebody didn't do it.

True but I would think that it would be better if it was done by the performance center than if it was done by Bubba on his kitchen table

HEY! I have done some fine gunsmithing at my kitchen table.

No offense to any kitchen table gunsmiths here (myself included) I'm merely looking at it as value when/if I ever decide to sell. It would be more valuable to a buyer if the work was done by S&W vs Bubba
