What are the advantages/disadvantages of the 4.25" and 5" barrel options?

The longer sight radius of the 5" is negated if using a RDS, right?

I have a 5" CORE, and seems to me you're right. Shorter barrel giving up a small velocity benefit, but with a red dot the sight radius issue is
...gone.

Longer barrel more weight less muzzle flip is another plus.

I have the 4.25" with a Vortex Venom on it. Very smooth shooter I use for competition. You can't go wrong with either one!

I have the Pro so I'm shooting irons but I love the 5 inch barrel. Feels great to me.
