Has anyone had the PC M&P action package performed on your M&P? S&W PC is rather vague about the outcome. Does it eliminate the take up before the trigger engages? Does it lighten trigger pull? Seems if you get the same results as you do with the Apex kit, it would be worth while to pay the difference and still have your pistol under warranty.

I am still torn between the PC Action Package or the Apex DCAEK myself.

PC action job on a MP pistol

I had my MP45 done by SW PC and I am very happy with it. I have not shot a M&P with APEX kit of any degree so I cant compare. It still has the same take up travel as before but the trigger pull was greatly improved no gritty or 9lb trigger pull, also they polished the ramp on the barrel. Best of all it is still under warranty and no worries if I use it in a selfdefense situation because it was done to factory specs.

What all do they do with this package?

Jepkr,

The total cost is about $185.

Do you think it was worth it?

One of the advantages is that it would not increase the pretravel like the apex sear.

I have also considered the Apex DCAEK, Ram, and polymer trigger when it comes out. The cost for this set up would be around $200 plus I would pay a gunsmith to install it for about $70.

I have also considered just having everything polished for $65.

Do a search on the topic, there are a few posts on the subject. I sent my 45C back for the action job. Save your money and just put the Apex hard sear and USB in. You'll be further ahead and have a better action. I was not impressed with how my 45C turned out and ended up installing a hard sear and USB after the fact.

I agree with Ultratec00. I had the same experience. Don't waste your time and money with the action package. Just put in the Apex DCAEK and you're good to go.
