lets don't forget that at least some of these hits were cheap shots coming after favre had passed the ball off...cheap enough that the nfl has fined a saint player $20,000....i suspect the refs.will be waiting for similar tactics in the superbowl and will be prepared to dish out big penalty yards or expulsion from the game...
 
whine now cause they won't be the Ain'ts after the next game....New Orleans will be a rock'n town for days after the WIN...too bad I can't get there in time to party !
 
Trash talking about hurting a QB shows no class by either the team or its fans.

PS: No I am not a Colts fan, I'm a Bears fan and proud of it
 
I'll be watching the game but it will be kind of like watching two mules fighting over a turnip...I'm not much of a fan of either team (or NFL football for that matter. Now college football is a different story!)
 
Tough!

As a devout Packer fan originally from Wisconsin (during Bart Starr and Vince Lombardi era), there ain't no sympathy. Does anyone think Farve will retire when his last offensive play was an intercepted pass? His last play at Green Bay was an interception (and lost game).

The battle cry of devout Packer fans is, "Wait til next year!!" ViQueen fans just complain and whine about unfair opponents, bad weather, poor officials, and bad calls.
 
Saint's fan for many years. I was fortunate enough to work with saint's Radio during some games back when Archie Manning was one of the broadcasters. He along with the family are just outstanding people. But I have to go with the Saints. I now can wear the numerious Saint's items gathered through the years without hiding.

My wife is a Saint's fan longer than I but she loves the Manning family. While the colts may come out on top, I think it's going to be a lot closer than that.

Even the dog is going with the Saint's.......

Colts defense vastly underrated, and Manning can make a high school receiver go to the Pro Bowl. Colts win going away.
 
Peyton Manning will carve the Saints to pieces if they blitz him like they did Farve. I think this will be a fairly high scoring game, but the Colts will win by more than a touchdown.
 
The game between the Saints and the Vikings was a win/win situation for me. I have been a Saints fan since their inception and Favre was raised not far from here, went to my alma mater, and now lives in my hometown. I frequently see him around here. I have always been Manning fans as two of them played for Ole Miss. (and one for the Saints) I was a little miffed when Peyton went to Tennessee instead of one of the Mississippi schools but I got over it. He's the best quarterback in the game right now. Even after watching the disgusting cheap shots the Saints put on Favre I would still like to see the Saints win even though they probably won't. Either way, I won't be on Bourbon St. Sunday night.
