I have been shooting my 39-2 about 20 or more times a day for some hundreds of rounds now. Berry's THP 124g with 231, matching factory velocity ( Blaser Brass, and Rem 124g FMJ ). I start with pinpoint groups, then cast wide flyers on a piece of notebook paper, both two hand and off hand at 15 yards, we all can get flyers. Function reliability is 100%. My K frame revolvers don't show me this trouble, nor does my Kimber 1911. I suspect half my problem may be trigger. I do like safe triggers especially with semi autos. Do these 39-2 triggers have a history of being improved upon? In my AO, North Idaho, I don't know who to go to for t work. Any comments?
