Hey guys! I was looking for a cheap little plinking .22 and came across this one. I feel like I'm pretty set on this one since it's so cheap and I'd only be running some cheap standard .22lr through it. I'd never use it as a carry (I have a snub .38 for that xD), but would like something cheap to shoot at a range or on some land that wouldn't break the bank. Since the wonderful panic buyers have drained nearly every source of anything related to firearms, I can't find one anywhere. Anyone know of some secret untapped source?

They have a funky safety mechanism if I recall..and come with two barrels. Guys that have them say they shoot good

The strange safety turns me off

I know they're cheap, but cheap is what I'm looking for. I want something that can handle some dirt cheap .22 (and to answer your quesiton Rule3 some local pawn shops still have cheap .22lr ;) ), without breaking the bank. The only version I can find at the moment is the .25acp HP25.

I had a 9mm version a few years back. Honestly I dont want to sound like an idiot but after shooting S&W's, Ruger's, Glock's, etc. I just didn't even want it.

If I recall, I scored it for under $100 from a friend. After reading horror stories about slides coming off, KB's, and whatever else, it wasn't worth me keeping.

The 22 is probably fine though. Low pressure round and dirt cheap. Just keep an eye out on armslist or something similar.

A couple years ago I picked up a used long barreled version with a brick of ammo for around $100. Shot about 1000 rounds through it with no problems and sold it for $125 just because I got tired of the dual safeties. If I find another at that price I'll probably buy it just to carry behind the seat of my truck.
