I know we have a bunch of PhotoBucket users here, is everyone else having issues since they made changes recently? Seems like every other time I click on a page I get an error, and editing doesn't work at all with ad blocking turned on.

Anyone looked at the alternatives, like imagur, flickr, picasaweb, etc? What I always liked about photobucket is they had simple editing tools, so it was easy to crop or resize a photo for web viewing, etc. Also the phone app auto-uploads photos as you take them, which is nice. I guess google plus does that also, not sure about the others?

Anyway, any suggestions for another service to try?

Mine works fine

"tests ok, no trouble found"

I use Ccleaner about once a week.

I looked at changing once but couldn't figure out how to transfer ALL my current pics to a new site. One had some kind of tool for that but I don't remember who, and it didn't work anyway.

A OK on the Eastern Front, a little slow, probably a lot of traffic.

The problems seem to come and go. Sometimes it works fine. But today I uploaded and posted a pic and it gave me so much trouble I swear I was about to shoot the computer.

yeah, I should have prefaced - pics show up fine when linked, it's just working on the web page where I seeing all kinds of issues... running slow, lots of error messages, especially when editing pics. I've found after clicking apply, it displays the progress bar, then eventually displays an error. If you go back to the main album, the changes were saved, it just seems to throw up on itself as the end. Probably a coding issue with the re-design.

Hopefully they figure it out and it clears up soon. Right now it's easier just to d/l them, edit on my laptop and re-upload :(.

I'll be honest, I'll give them $10 a year to get rid of the ads, if they can keep the site actually working correctly. It's pretty dang convenient when it works right ;).

I had an error message this evening when initially trying to log in, but otherwise had no issues uploading or getting links to photos.

I think you're more likely to have trouble when they have a lot of users, like on the weekends. You probably get better performance if you pay, but who wants to do that?

I have never been able to make it work. I can get the pics, to it O K but then comes the real problem ; posting them to other places like Sig forum etc etc. I much prefer when it is like this board and you can just post directly from your computer, makes it so much simpler.

Sometimes it gets a little glitchy. I chalk it up to site traffic and lots of advertising bogging down their site. Usually only glitchy for a short time & then back to normal for me.
