I have an airweight 442-2 and I want to get some nicer grips, don't really like the blk rubber that came with it.
Would love to see what people have put on.
Might get some wood grips, but not sure how they would look on a blk 442
thanks

My M&P 360 with wood.....

My M&P 360 came with rubber also. No complaints...........BUT, I saw a J-frame with a nice piece of wood and my choice was made. Here are the results.

I've never shot mine with rubber grips, so I couldn't say if they do better. They are comparable to a set of Spegel grips I have on a model 640.

how are they to shoot with compared to the rubber stock grips?

I actually think the little Airweight J-frames are more comfortable and easier to shoot with a Tyler T-grip added to either factory wood stocks or stags, than with rubbers. Been there, done that.

Here's my M37 Airweight with original wood stocks (which have since been put away for safekeeping) and with Elk Stags made by Patrick Grashorn which I truly love on the gun.

Bottom line . . . the Tyler makes the gun more classic, more shootable . . . AND more comfortable! A great addition!

Lose the rubbers and get some stags and a T-grip!

Flat latch Model 12 "no-dash" with original grips and T-Grip adapter.

BlackSky that's a great picture of your Airweight, very clever...

My turn, my turn!:)

I'm a big fun of the T-grip for these little revolvers.

Here's my 442 with smooth rosewood Secret Service grips. I'm thinking of selling them if you are interested.

The 640-1 is not black, but it is a J-frame with Spegel Granadillo grips.
