Picked it then went to work. Got home and broke it down. Found very sharp edges on the front slide guides not rounded like the rear. Anyway took a little emery cloth and smoothed the sharp edges. Cleaned and oiled the whole gun seems to have gotten rid of the gritty feeling when pulling the slide back. Hopefully will be at the range tomorrow to see how well it throws lead. Thanks guys for all the info. Great forum.

The SD9's are great in the fact that they seem to eat anything. And feel good in the hand.
