A local shop had a Sw9VE. No box, just one mag, dirty. But it was cheap, so I had to buy it. The dirt is easy to clean. The trigger is broke in and feels good. I need to find another mag for it without breaking the bank. No one around here has Sigma mags anymore.
It's hard to pass up a good deal on a gun you know will be reliable and fun to shoot.

That's the biggest downside IMO. Mags aren't plentiful and they aren't exactly cheap. At least the SD9 and SW9 are interchangeable.

Greg Cote comes highly recommended as a source for mags. Greg Cote, LLC

Glad I went for the extra mags option when I got my SW9VE - have a total of 4, two of them are unused.

Finally got my Apex spring kit yesterday. Straightforward install, except for the trigger pin, but no worse than any other. Nice touch by Apex by including a slave pin in the kit. If I didn't do a full deep cleaning, I probably could have done it in about 10 minutes.

Haven't been able to hit the range yet, but the new springs made my Sigma into a totally different gun. Not going to be a competition race gun (never was meant to be), but the trigger is smoothed out, lightened, breaks cleanly and now has a noticeable reset.

Now for the next 15k rounds...

I have gotten some from Greg Cote LLC .com They were like 34 dollars plus like 4 dollars shipping. He is very reliable.

I got a couple SD mags by mistake for my SW9V and the newer radiused baseplate is actually a perfect fit on my SW9V (not sure if the VE is different?)
I want to switch out all my baseplates now, need to call S&W to see what they'll run me.

Watch around you'll find some, I have ordered several from Midway around the $30 mark

im having the same issue bought a used sigma 40 no box 1 mag for what I thought was a decent price . I would like to get another mag im not finding many locally and what I am finding it 36 to 40 $ range for 10 round mags . if I pay that i'll have close to what I can buy a new gun for .
