Wow that's really nice, always wanted a S&W .357.
Well they are out and they are sweet. I did my Saturday morning pop in to my local dealer and there it was sitting in the case. I had to lay out the cash and buy it.
The trigger is a classic K frame smooth. The cylinder edges are beveled, the black trigger, hammer and cylinder latch are nicely contrasting with the bead blast stainless finish. It balances great and the barrel is on straight as an arrow.
I will shoot it tomorrow and report.
Does anyone want pics??
Is that sarcasm or poor form? No. Though I suspect I'm too late...
Here's a pic of my freshly Ren Waxed 586 to hold us over until the OP posts his new M66.

Here's my M19 too, just for fun:

I bought the new 66-8 and the trigger is not as smooth as my other revolvers. I have a 686 plus, 640, 642, K-15-3 and the 66-8 above. The trigger is much harder and grittier than the others on the 66-8. I hesitate to have Wolf or Wilson springs installed because I don't know a gun smith in the Chicago area. I would send it to S&W but don't want a match trigger. I want it smooth like my others. Help please with advice.Well they are out and they are sweet. I use gun slick on my Model 15-3. Where do you get Rem Wax?What is "Ren Wax"?

My greatest concern would be the .01" barrel cylinder gap.
