I'm buying a 3953 tomorrow from a guy on another forum I frequent. It's a police trade, it's in awesome shape from the pics. Has 4 factory mags, original box and manuals, and best of all comes with a brand new Milt Sparks 55BN holster and single mag pouch! I'm getting everything for $450. That sounds like a deal to me! What you guys think?
I'll post pics after I pick it up tomorrow.

Excellent deal, I love my 3953 and am always on the hunt for another locally to add to the collection. I love the DAO trigger because it is like shooting my revolvers but in a flat carry semi auto. Hope you like yours.

Deal? Somebody is going to put your picture on the post office walls.
Good for you. :)

I just paid a little less for a 3913 with two mags and no original box, and I think I got a good deal.

Your deal sir is OUTSTANDING! :D

My 3953 is my go to gun.
Compact, accurate and bet your life reliable.

Pics of 3953!

Well I did a search on this forum for my pistol model # and I found out the guy I got it from tried to sell it on here a few months ago! Well to say the least I got a lot better deal on it than he originally posted it for! Headed to the range tomorrow. Will give y'all a report then!
Here are the wanted pics!

Was gonna ask but forgot in last post. The night sights are about dead. Can I still get replacements from say Novaks or Trijicon? I could send the slide to somebody and they could relamp them
I suppose. Any ideas appreciated.

Trijicon...1-800-338-0563. Call them for a RA# and send your sights back to be re-lamped. I believe you can send the entire slide, but you had better ask first.

I traded for a 3953, like it but the trigger takes some getting used to.

Thoughts?

Move every spare dime you have outta that checking account, and for all things holy lock up your credit cards before going to the range. You'll know why after you shoot it.

Robertson Tradin post 3953 LE trade in 389.00+$10.00 shipping. Great people to deal with.

Thanks for the comments fellas. Will be cheaper getting them relamped. Thanks for the replys. Got 300 rounds to feed her in the morning! She's hungry!

Great Gun

I had a3953 TSW sold it to a friend, still regret it.

sights

ColbyBruce is indeed correct on Trijicon sights. The last set I sent in Trijicon preferred to have you send in the slide. Cost me $54.00 to have it re-lamped and they gave it a new 13 year warranty.

Great set up at a decent price!!

I looked for a 3953 when buying a 9mm but could not find one at the time. I ended up with the double stack version instead. I do not carry so it worked out alright with the 6946 until my grandson got hold of it. Now it is gone for me.

Got another question guys? The magazine release button has a threaded piece in the center and the piece is sticking out frOm the button enough that it annoys me by poking my thumb. How do I get it to thread flush? Thanks.
