Feeding off of the two great threads already started in this forum concerning ghosts, I thought it would be neat to ask if anyone has any pictures of the unexplainable? If so, please show them!

Here's one I have that I took several years ago on the Gettysburg Battlefield here in PA. I have studied this battle for many years and spend a whole lot of time down there year round. Up on top of Little Round Top, there is a statue of Gen. Gouverneur Warren ( Gouverneur K. Warren - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia ). I took this picture on a 35mm camera before I owned a digital camera. Its a picture of Warren's statue taken as dusk was setting in. When I got the film developed, this is (see below) what was in the picture. At first I thought it was a double exposure of the statue itself but, as you can see, the hat and posture are different. There were also no other pictures of soldiers, statues, or people on the roll. I've had several people familiar with photography look at it at they can't explain it. Save it to your computer and enlarge it to see it better. Anyone here have a thought?

yep. sure do haha the ambient light behind the silhouette atop the hill is creating a focus glare on the lens, kind of like a mini shaddow, almost transparent but because the transparent figure is to the left, actual figure is to the right, and the ambient light is coming from the right of the actual figure. it makes sense :-)

I don't think that's accurate. Look closely - two different figures. Hat is different, posture of the neck is different. I (and many others) could accept your explanation if the figures looked the same.

I have been on Little Round Top at dusk. I do not doubt your photo. I know people who have spoken to folks they thought were re-enactors, only to find there were no re-enactors anywhere around. The valley below Little Round Top is just plain spooky.

maybe.ill run it through my security software and see if i can clean it up a bit and get a clearer picture. im not a skeptic. i've just seen cameras do some funny things :-p

well its not a camera glitch, its something thats physically there. i ran it through my software and if it was a camera glitch, reducing the exposure and increasing the brightness would have removed the figure from the picture. but it didnt.

best i can do is give you this odd looking copy. i tweaked the saturation and tint so yall can see the immage more clearly :-) yes its green but that was the only tint that inhanced the figure :-)

The shadow image appears to be wearing an overcoat.
I posted this a couple years ago. We had a mini family outing at Russian River her in NorCal to put my dad's ashes in the river where he put my moms and we put our sister's previously. The next morning at camp we took pictures. There was no wind, leaves faling or blowing and it was a beautiful morning. Only one picture had this prominent orb with many other lighter orbs in the picture. There was a hill behind us with no reflections and we didn't have a fire going. Of course we want to believe the Old Man ws hanging out with us but orbs are contraversial so i'll leave it at that. But the only other time orbs appeared was in a couple shots on the same camera at my dad's house a coouple days before.

I've been on some actual battlefields from that era and I have absolutely no doubt that it is possible. I've heard some interesting stories from friends that went to Gettysburg and I've done reenactments on battlefields further south and have seen some unexplainable stuff.

Well that's certainly interesting - thank you!

Thanks for your photo post....interesting and gutsy. I try to keep an open mind and your photo is food for thought.

I have already written on this subject here and will not go into further. I have photos and EVP....I will never post them as the circumstances were a very personal experience for me.

God, in his infinite and unknown-to-us wisdom, has in my belief his reasons for some to remain behind. I pray for his mercy on them and to grant these "wandering souls" peace.

While I have read and heard stories of people running into pure evil, I was fortunate in my short time with this "hobby". I will never do that "hobby" again as prefer to leave pandora's box closed.

This subject always touches a chord with me as there is nothing that no one of this Earth can do to help them. It stirs emotions in me that I prefer not to reveal, which is why I close this entry now.
