Does it mean that in order to post a picture we now have to go to profile, create an album, then go from there to add a pic to a post - as opposed to just clicking on the image icon in the past and entering the url?

No, that isn't what it means, we do not have albums enabled at this time.

You have three choices, you can use a photobucket type account and copy the IMG code directy into your message or click the "insert image" icon and put in the photo bucket direct url like this:

or you can click on the "paper clip" - attachment icon and upload the photo to the forum like this:

OK, that's what I've always done but now I can't find the "insert image" icon in which to put my photobucket url. Don't mean to be dense, but where is it?

Thanks.

Had to try, just copy and paste the IMG code.

I finally figured it out this morning. Type this:
and put the address of the pic you want to use in between them so it looks like this:

The address in between would be something like: "http://yadayada yada" (without the quotes). If you're using a pic off the internet or out of photobucket or picasa or whatever, right click on the picture, then click on "properties". The info on the picture will pop up in another box, just copy the address from that box and paste it between the IMG things.

That's how I did it, hope it helps.

No more photobucket for me

I'm a fan of uploading from my computer. The only reason I had a photobucket account was to post on the old forum. No offense to any regular users, but that site is pretty much worthless for anything else. There are plenty of photo posting sites that are so much better. It was just a pain to take a picture, put it on my computer, log on to PB, upload onto PB, log on to the forum, copy the link from PB just to post a pic. Now all I do is load from my computer and I have a nice little thumbnail. What I like about it, being a dial up user, is instead of big ol' pics loading, the thumbnail only loads and you get to chose if you want to roll over it to see the full image or not.

Like my 681 that is so easy to post.

Thanks Matthew - changed from basic to standard and all of the old formatting icons are back.

Now to see if it works.

Another picture question? ! ? ! ?

We don't have access to a persons email address! How do we send a picture in a Private Message or to a person direct without posting the picture in the reply.
