Pinned and recessed gun

I have a Smith & Wesson me 29 - 2 with the pinned barrel and recessed cylinders and I noticed that the pin through the barrel is sticking out further on one side the right side if you are holding a gun , is this normal or should I try to tap the pin in some?

There is nothing to worry about

Once the pin was through the frame, it does not matter if it is longer on one side than another

If it bothers you, get a brass drift and GENTLY tap it and center it up.
