Went to the LGS and I was messing around with a couple ARs and now I want an R-Guns TRR-15. Felt great in the hands, light, nice looking too. All the little things were nickel plated like mag release safety, etc.

But back to the story I felt 2 grips a houge with beavertail and finger separator sand the magpul miad. I'm caught between the 2.

2 questions

Will the houge fde color match worj magpul fde?

Which one do you have or which one would you choose?

Thanks everyone

R-Guns? That shop is local to me. I run one of their complete uppers, and couldn't be happier. You should check out their nickel boron lower, upper, BCG rifle.

As for grip, I have the Magpul MIAD. It comes with different front panel inserts and rear backstrap inserts to customize the grip. Very comfy.

I like my MAID, lots of different cores that you can choose from. That said, I have handled a Hogue grip not mounted. It did feel comfortable, but I can't attest to how it feels under recoil. I did have Hogue grips on my 5946TSW and thought they were a bit bulky. I know, comparing apples to oranges. I just think most of Hogue's stuff feels larger than it needs to be.

It's all over molded rubber. They had it mounted on a dpms 308. Felt nice.

Yeah when it comes time for another AR I'm thinking on that r-guns.

One other thing that I noticed with the Hogue grips that I had on my 5946, after shooting for an extended period of time, they would get a tacky feeling to them. The sweat from my hand I'm thinking. It would go away as soon as the firearm was cleaned. Hogue might have changed the way they make their products by now and you might not have this reaction. Those grips that I had were 15 years old.

ENGAGE Pistol Grips

Any of these in scorched dark earth will match MOE FDE exactly.....I am running the MFT G27 on my middy and it fits perfectly, feels great, and looks killer!
