Right near where I live, just blocks away, a trio of thugs held up a pizza truck. The driver was armed and shot them. :)

The driver shot two crims and the third was picked up by police.

Official word is that one punk died and the other was only wounded. The third was not shot, but will face trial.

I'm sure there are more robbers where these came from, but it's nice to have their herd thinned a little. (Especially during the Christmas crime season.)

Good on the driver, I say! I like seeing a robbery go bad for the perps... One, at least, will ply his trade no longer.

As far as I know, the pizza man was uninjured.

Does the pizza guy still have a job? Company policy at some of these places can be pretty unsympathetic.

That's a good point, not covered in the news release I saw. Didn't name the pizza company, either.

If he does get fired, I hope someone starts a Christmas fund for him. And that a more reasonable employer hires him.

I love stories with a happy ending, especially at Christmas. Prayers for the driver will be needed as he deals with legal, physiological issues," Monday quarterbacking" and possible job loss. Sadly, every round that leaves a handgun has a lawyer attached to it

I checked Online about this case. Channel 11 CBS said there were just two bandits, both just 15. And already dangerous...

Similar thing happened in my area - driver shot and killed robber. Driver was fired and that is why I NEVER will eat Dominoes Pizza.

Someone should make this into a Christmas story...maybe add some reindeer and a Christmas tree. The robbery victim could be portrayed by Santa Claus and the story could serve as an example as to what happens to bad little boys at Christmas time.

Ho, ho, ho.

Kevlar was developed by chemists at DuPont. Body armor using it was in fact developed by Richard Davis when he was in the pizza business. Sadly, he later sold out and was part of a huge scandal related to body armor construction about 10 years ago.

Good to hear the pizza driver came out okay.

I had one of the old Zylon vests.....

Pizza guy is better fired than dead. Pizza joints won't make deliveries to Apt. complex down the street after delivery guy was killed and another robbed.

Around here last 2 (within last 5 days) murders were done by 13 yr. olds. One was a male nurse shot and killed for nothing after his midnight shift. 2 days ago an pretty little 20 yr old College student was robbed and knifed to death by a gang of 13yr olds. First 15-20 mins (I kid you not) of morning news EVERY DAY is reports of last nights atrocities.
No help from the libs.. I count myself lucky in that I can go everywhere armed. Police have their hands tied by civilian overseer morons. We're pretty much on our own.

It Needs a GREAT Story teller ...

With your Great Story Telling Skills I nominate you - Charlie Sherrill - to write it.
