internal light lock
I think your auto light setting are turned off. So you may have to unlock the internal lock so the trigger can engage the hammer and trip the shutter to emit the right balance of light to expose the digital whiz bang thing to produce a corrected sample of the object you were photographing. But thats is just a guess.

One version of "Starry Night" was sold recently. I think there are 3 of them. Often artists make more than one copy. I learned this when I saw two copies of "Little 14 Year Old Dancer" by Degas on display in a museum looking across the room at each other.
The copy of Starry Night in the Munch Museum in Oslo was stolen and held for ransom. Gangsters threatened to burn it if prosecutors didn't cut a deal with a gang boss awaiting trial. It worked. He was offered a plea deal with one year in jail for multiple murder charges.

Your picture looks dark, gloomy and a bit ghoulish to me (in a good way), almost like a vampire movie scene... 
That is very cool. I was in an art gallery once and I must say it is really nice and relaxing. And I found out that I really do like cubism.
There was a particular Picasso picture - unfortunately I don't remember the name of it - which I would have taken home this day, but security stopped me
