M.I.L.T mothers insisting on licensed tools

Tool Shows

Remember
It feels good to give up a little freedom for a lot of safety

Witch's Coven or Faire of Death?

Not satisfied with the number of unregistered and unlicensed tools in American homes today, the Tool Lobby has convinced it's customers that they need to sell more. More tools, more hazards, more potential for death and disfiguring injury- that's what they're after. Thanks to the bright light of publicity M.I.L.T. has shown on their activities, the Tool Industry as decided to go on the offensive. Tool Shows.

Often run over the course of several days, tool companies will sponsor a special "sale" where customers can see the tools offered and buy them at "special prices." Many times, they try to convey a festive atmosphere by having a tent, and "giving away" free food. But we know the truth- there's nothing free in this world, and that food you think is free is actually bought and paid for with tool "blood money."

What kind of people frequent a tool show? Well, M.I.L.T. discovered there is no age requirement to get in. We walked right past them with a baby stroller and no one lifted a finger to stop us. It was a sickening display, grown men and women hungrily fingering the glistening tools, mesmerized by their blades and bits and discs, wondering aloud about worm gears and horsepower and revolutions per minute. The celebratory mood causes regular folks- who would normally resist the siren song of tool manufacturers- to reach deep into their pocketbook for tools they would not otherwise purchase, have no idea how to use, and will only end up being found by a young child, resulting in yet another accident.

It's sad what our nation has become.

I will try to type my response with my broken stubs that I have left after building the birdhouse using my power tools.

I think we should pass laws in the USA that would protect every citizen from any and all danger so to allow the population to expand to the point that all could die a slow death from starvation. Bring it on big brother we already know how stupid you can be, now give us more proof.

The tool that started it all- a .50 (1/2") high speed full auto assault drill. It is a model 7254 Type 2 manufactured by the famous International Death Merchant Black and Decker. This drill is an industrial accident waiting to happen. There is no need for a tool like this to be available to the average homeowner, yet you can go down to almost any hardware store in any town and purchase one. What's worse, is that you could send your ten year old daughter to buy it for you, and she could walk home with it that same day.

Why? Because there are no age limits and no waiting periods for assault drills. Originally developed for military use, these drills are now available to the public without permits of any kind; their ownership is not regulated by any agency of the Federal Government; their ownership is not regulated by any State Agency. Worse, there are hundreds of thousands of these "tools" in homes across America- probably in your own home! Note in the illustration above that these drills contained features only found in military hardware- large calibers, pistol grips, locks for constant, high-speed drilling, and drill bits capable of drilling through tank armour. Yet, with all these features, they can easily be plugged into a standard wall outlet and operated by a child of two!

How often have your children played with your neighbor's kids? Quite often, I would imagine. Have you ever considered the fact that your neighbor may have- in a place easily accessed by children- one of these assault drills? The illustration on the right clearly shows how accessible the controls of this heinous device are- a simple push button to turn it on, and a simple switch to lock it on. We're not going to go into the horrible and disfiguring injuries a device like this could cause in the hands of a child; suffice to say they should be heavily regulated- now- before it's too late for someone you love.

Where do I send the check?

Umm, you can send that check to me....
A lot of people did send checks, go all the way down on the left side and click on last page

The most amazing thing about that site is that some people were dumb enough want to send in money because they thought it was real and they believed in the whole concept

I can tell you from personal experience how dangerous these power tools are to children. When I was a small child. Father one day got so angry with us kids. That he went to the tool shop and made a brand new paddle for my mother. This is just one example of the cruelty of these hand tools can deliver to children.
