Please help me, computer whizzes.....

I can't open thumbnail pics. All I get is an enlarged semi dark screen. Waiting does not work.
What can I do?

Are you referring to thumbs on this forum? Try clicking the image which should open a new window for the pic. It takes a long time for me sometimes if I just roll over a thumbnail, but usually works better if I click it.

Edit: Actually.. RIGHT click it, open in new tab or new window depending on your browser.

Hmmm.... I'm using Firefox as well.

I attached a very small image file. See if it works either by roll over or right clicking and opening in new tab.

My only idea is that your browser may be having trouble with larger files.

Some thumbnails work for me and so do not. I do not think it is a problem with your computer.

However; I have found that if I utter a few well chosen expletives that seems to help, sometime.

Sometimes though, even that does not work.

Do you have a pop-up blocker enabled? I'll check our desktop (it runs Firefox) and see if thumbnails open OK on it. If it works, we can compare settings (if you wish).
