Does the picture reflect mismatching parts? It's .38 special, but I can't tell what it is.

Mid 50's Military & Police model. Very nice condition from what I can see. Not sure what you're thinking is mismatched, unless you're referring to the pesky assembly number, which has no significance once it leaves the factory. The grips might not be original to the gun, but are at least period correct. Good shootin',

I gave $430 for a 1951 in excellent condition about three weeks ago, for what it's worth.
The stocks look correct, but almost too nice. Check the back of the right one for the matching serial. If it's there, the gun is probably worth 500. I don't even see a turn line. If no matching stock serial, use that to bargain them down![]()
They were original and I talked him down to $350.
