I have this addiction for Bar BQ Guns, and its getting worse! What am I going to do? This weekend in Houston it got completely out of hand and I ended up with these:

Ummm, if you consider these barbecue guns, well, I just don't know.

I can't imagine what they cost. The K-38 especially is gorgeous.

I just brought out my K-22 and showed it the screen and said "See, this is what you should look like!"

Wonderful ,,congratulations , ,,Al

It's a shame those nice guns got all corroded like that . . .

Seriously, that's some very nice engraved pieses you have. Congrats, and thanks for sharing.

Ummm, WOW. I don't know what else to say...... I do need a mop and a paper towel though to clean up my desk and floor.

OMG those are beautiful. Thanks for the pics.

Now this may be a stupid question, but here goes. I have heard that phrase before (Bar BQ guns). What does that phrase mean?

Thanks
Chris

Don't know if I'd call them BarBQ guns-kinda associate nickel plating with that....but what I do know is that if I found those and had the spenders in my pocket, they would have come home with me too.
Great finds!

A BBQ Gun is a "fancy, go to meeting" weapon.
Usually reserved for special functions, and worn openly, with an equally exquisite leather holster and belt.
"Mine's better than yours" comes to mind...

Those are beautiful. I was at the Houston show and never saw any revolvers as nice as those. Probably couldn't have afforded one anyway. Congrats on those beauties.

My advice is to keep feeding the addiction.

I do have a question on the K38. If it is from 55-56 shouldnt it be a 5 screw?
Beautiful guns at any rate. Any ideas on who did the engraving??

Gatorbaiter, You should know better than to come here for help, we've all got the same sickness, so go out and get a few more, and while your at it, you need to get some really nice rigs from ElPaso Saddelry, Mernickle, and such, so you can really show them off. Don't be hiding them in a safe!!!!

There were a lot of beautiful guns at the show and you brought some of the best revolvers home, but there were very few bargains last weekend. I hope that you also got a good deal.
