Please help...Trying to determine Manufacture date on Model 60

You need to recheck that serial number. It should be an R followed by all numbers.

What X said. That is NOT a valid number. Look on the butt of the gun for the number.

R190001-R220000 = 1977-1978

I purchased this thinking that it was, what I was told, a 1969.
The gun is in great condition, and once again I believed what I was told, it was only fired once .
Can anyone give me an idea what I should have paid for this firearm?
