Woody,

You need to recheck that serial number. It should be an R followed by all numbers.

That serial # dates to 1977-1978.

R190001-R220000 = 1977-1978

XTrooper,
Thank You Sir!
I purchased this thinking that it was, what I was told, a 1969.
The gun is in great condition, and once again I believed what I was told, it was only fired once .
Can anyone give me an idea what I should have paid for this firearm?

You have a great snub-nosed revolver from a bygone era equipped with a hammer-mounted firing pin, no MIM parts, and no internal lock. All those things demand a premium.

XT,
Came with box and some original paperwork. No cleaning rod.
What would you pay for this firearm?
Woody

If I were in the market for one, I'd pay up to $600 or so for it with the original box, etc
