Please offer a value estimate: 27-2, 3½", S282610

You "experts" can be very confusing. The last thread I was just reading you told a guy his 4" nickel 13 was worth 700-800 dollars then you tell this guy a 3 1/2" 27 with cokes is maybe a 1000 dollar gun. You can't play on both sides of the gun show table.

You are talking N frame value VS K frame value. Big difference. Not to mention the 3.5" 27 - 2 discussed has a 20% premium according to the S&W catalogue. For me It is all about condition for old revolvers.

I recently bought a 27 - 2 5" as new condition box, papers, tools unfired with a S serial number on Gunbroker believe it or not for $1.100. You can use that as a comparison for what it is worth.

That's what I'm talking about. Around here you couldn't give away a 4" nickel anything, unless you found a guy that collects nickel guns. That 27 wouldn't have made it past Friday set up for $1000.00. Another dealer would've put it on their table for 1500 Saturday and it might have made it through the day.
