That would be perfect but there are two problems. Bud's Police Supply doesn't have any M&P pistols in stock and being former military doesn't qualify for the discount. You have to be active, retired, or a reservist.

Just for your information, you are wrong on both counts, but whatever. I'll keep buying from them, and I am former military. And a tip: I think they get S&W guns on Mondays and Thursdays, at least that's when the Shields were hitting the store....

I can verify they sell to past military because that's what I am and I have bought half a dozen guns from them this year. After 5 years in the Army, I am not retired, not active and not reserve. You don't have to believe me, but I don't think you should doubt me when I am the one buying the guns and you have never even called them to ask.
Second: You said they have no M&P's, yet they do have an M&P40c with night sights for $455 right now. With a full size grip it is a great range gun, with a 9mm barrel it is an inexpensive shooting gun.
They also get new guns in constantly. You have to keep checking. When I bought my Shield a couple days ago they had a boatload of M&P's of all sizes and calibers. Don't blow then off because the gun you want isn't in right now, they could have 2,000 of them this afternoon.
And don't forget to send in for your $50 S&W rebate! Same deal there, it says retired military, active, etc. etc. etc. but send it in and you should get your check just like everyone else does.

Bud's maintains 2 websites; one for the general public and one for military, le, etc. Discount Guns for Law Enforcement by Buds Gun Shop (budsgunshop.com). Anyone can use the first site but Bud's Police Supply is restricted to the customers listed above.
