Please Return My Brownells Flex Hones

This thread shouldn't be this long. Someone, somewhere, knows something about where these hones might be. I hope someone isn't reading this and intentionally keeping the hones. May I ask Gary what it would cost to replace his missing items?

With the oil and shipping, Brownells sells them for about $100.

Bump for return of this man's tooling.

Gary, PM sent. I think it's obvious by now that you're not going to get your hones back. So let's get you a new set.

I Realy appreciate that Misty..
Here's another Bump looking for those Hones..

Somebody send me their paypal address and I'll kick in $20 towards the purchase of a new set. I didn't even know what the things were, but I don't believe the gentlemen should be punished for being nice enough to loan his stuff out.

This kind of stuff just isn't right.

Private message me for my Paypal address.

it's sad that it had to come to this but I guess some adults are as mature as my 2 yr old, but even he knows when to return his sisters cup

Dunno if this was brought up, but Brownells offers a fairly significant discount to C&R license holders. I qualify for that discount. If the person ordering doesn't, I'd be happy to place the order for headknocker.

I have a 940 that could probably use it too.

Sad that a generous person was taken advantage of. Something similar happened on the candle power forums when a flashlight system was passed all over the world. It got "lost" too. I suspect it was lent outside of the community and gained legs. It's a shame.

I talked to Gary (headknocker), offering to get him a new set, but he said he wanted to give it a little more time, hoping he would get his back. I don't see it happening, but it's his call.

When it's time to pony up the money, I'm good for $20 if more is needed. Whoever takes care of the ordering, just PM me and it'll go out quick.

Good luck, Gary...

Well....... Gary is indeed a good guy. As it appears that no one is going to pony up his hones, I'll pony up some cash and even be happy to order them through Brownells at my discounted price. Let me know if I can be of assistance! Hit me with a PM or email.

I still can't believe that these hones have went "Gone" & the current person with them won't pony up..
I was just looking threw Brownell's website & there right @ $32 ea.. I had the Medium & Fine plus a contained of the special oil which I still have, I was sending a small amount in a Militec bottle to save on S&H along with them as they traveled around..
Here's the link to Brownell's page 38/357 Hones, also the same for 9mm..
BROWNELLS : BROWNELLS : HANDGUN POLISHING SYSTEM - World's Largest Supplier of Firearm Accessories, Gun Parts and Gunsmithing Tools

Looks like it's time to act. If someone (maybe those who could get a discount) would take the ball and make it happen, it would be appreciated. I would but I don't even know what headknocker is talking about, just that his good will got taken advantage of. The money has been promised in the previous posts.

Like I said, I'm good for $20...

Noah Zark $20

I can take Paypal and then send a check to browntown. If we have some extra $$$ left over maybe we could order him a speedloader as well, for his good gesture gone bad.

Looks like you have honed in on a replacement solution. :p

Best to you Gary, hope it all works out.

You Guys/Gals are the Bomb!!
I didn't expect to get the hones replaced but was hopeing that the original ones would show up If I kept posting it..
If this works out which I'm sure it will anyone who wants to use the hones must simply ask & keep them just long enough to hone thier cylinder & on they go to the next person.. I don't currently need them but have a project on the back burner for a 940 cylinder for my 642..
Realy Smiths chambers should have been smooth as most thier revolvers are but for some reason alot of/Most 940 cylinders are rough, also most Dan Wesson cylinders are this way too??
As I said before I have at least a pint of the special oil for the hones that must be used or it'll damage them..
You only need about two drops per cylinder hole to use them then you clean them with soap & water & reoil the hones before packageing them away..

Thanks a Million
Here's to everyone at this great forum
Anyone have some rough chambers in 9mm/38/357/30 carbine here's the answer, These will alot of times solve a sticky chamber or two that some revolvers have..
