Pls Close: Red Letter Pre Victory Navy, Pre 10 2" M&P, and Incredible Model 15-3 2"
**SPF**Offered for sale is my S&W "Red Letter Navy" pre Victory. The gun comes with a Jinks Factory Letter, authenticating Navy provenance. According to Mr. Jinks, it was shipped May 15, 1942 in one of three shipments of revolvers going to the United States Navy. The gun has matching numbers throughout, including the grips. From the research that I have done, it is likely that the gun was stamped "PROPERTY OF U.S. NAVY" after it left the factory by the Navy Yard, Mare Island, California. Also included is the Navy Holster that was with the gun when I purchased it.
Red Letter Navy Victories are highly sought after and very difficult to find. This one is unique in that it is lettered with numbers matching grips and correct Navy holster. This gun belongs in a Smith & Wesson military collection, so it is being offered here first, with the hope that a forum member recognizes the unique opportunity. $850 including shipping.
**SPF**Also offered is a gun that I purchased on this forum. An unusually nice pre Model 10 Military & Police with a 2" barrel.. The gun is numbers matching except for the grips, which are excellent and period correct. The photos are a good representation of the condition of this revolver. Offered at my investment at $475 shipped
Also offered is one I shouldn't sell: A very high condition Model 15-3 Combat masterpiece with highly coveted 2" barrel. Truly too nice to shoot.
I also bought it on this forum, so will sell at my investment of $682 shipped.
