This weekend I ventured to my local large gun store for the first time in several months (I got tired of going there just to look at dusty shelves). Well, I about broke down in sheer joy to see that the AR-15 section was completely stocked as was the "high capacity" magazines shelf. Ammo was still hard to find, but 2 out of 3 is a great start.

I walked out with a pmag and a maglink... not b/c I needed them, just b/c I could!

Hopefully things are improving.

Happy Shooting!

I bought 4 from Cabela's web site last week...got them yesterday. The price was about a dollar more than I paid last year. I don't consider the normal 30 round magazines as "High Capacity"....that's the standard mag that came with my gun.

My local pawn-gun shop in Pulaski Va. has p-mags for $13.00 ea. again, and a bunch of them. He also has most other magpul parts in stock.

Prices on P-Mags still vary quite a bit at the local sports stores and LGS's in my area. From a low of just under $12 to $22 for Gen2 30rd non window.

On a side note, I'm seeing 45 ACP and SW 40cal in quantity on the shelves, but 9mm is still hard to find.
