Pocket Carry .. holster recomondation

I used a Nemesis with my Shield 1.0 but found that the exposed rear sight was wearing an outline in my pants. I switched to a Remora that covers the sight.

Another good choice is Remora. Under the right circumstances, which means precisely correct clothing, a Remora pocket holster can also work as an IWB. But I prefer holsters with clips or loops for belt holsters.

I frequently carry a Walther CCP in a Remora pocket holster. It fits perfectly well in the hip pocket of my cargo pants.

I loved my Uncle Mikes for a bunch of years. Then I bought Ace Case Friction. I bet they are 5 years old and still doing the job.

Safariland Model 25 is the best pocket holster I've ever found. It has a Kydex-like interior that makes drawing smooth as silk, and a synthetic suede exterior that keeps it in your pocket while drawing. I found that heating it up allows you to mold it tighter or looser to "personalize" it.

The more I looked into safe pocket carry, the more strongly I felt about making sure the holster is a rigid plastic, kydex, or leather vs a soft foam and cloth/nylon style. I think this is especially important for Glock and M&P type pistols that are striker fired with a short and light pull. "Safety first!"

I recommend the Vedder pocket locker.

I have found NOTING better than the DeSantis Nemenis. I have them for my J Frame as well as for my Sig P365. Comfortable, sticks to pocket so holster does not come out with gun, sweat proof, light weight, pliable, lasts forever even with daily use, inexpensive. Been using them for 25 + years or so - it's been a looong time!

Have used most of the above. Now using a Kydex pocket holster which also has a thumb "push-off" tab.
Light, form fitting, thin, easy draw, holster never comes out when using thumb tab, rear sight is covered.

Most of the holsters mentioned here are either generic fit or they cover a range of pistols. There is a difference between a gun that fits in a holster vs a holster that was made for a gun.
The Mika holster is hand made individually for your specific gun after you place your order and speak to the builder Robert Mika himself to make sure your getting exactly what you need. All for around the same price as every other holster.
That’s what you call a personalized custom made product.

I've tried several, including Desantis, Mika, cheapies, etc. for my EDC, a Seecamp .32.; none were just what I was looking for. Was given a recommendation from a shooting buddy to try Jackson Leather. They make pocket holsters ( generic fit ) for numerous pocket carry/purse carry requirements. :)
