Decided to buy a Sig p365. I’ll have a quality leather OWB holster. But I also wanted to try pocket carry. I do it often now with a J frame and Beretta Tomcat. I’m thinking DeSantis Nemisis as I can get it for free thru a Sig promotion. I’m just wondering if anyone has any experience pocket carrying this gun or similar sized like Shield, Hellcat Glock 43 etc. I’d be wearing cargo pants or shorts. Nothing tight.

Strange timing on your post! I pocket carried mine for the first time today in a Desantis Nemisis. It's my normal method with my j frame. The 365 with it's squarish shape seemed to print a little more like a firearm than the more rounded shape of my j frame. Nobody probably paid any attention, but I was a little more obvious to it.

I can do so with cargo shorts in a Remora pocket holster. With gym shorts an LCP MAX or Seecamp gets inserted.

Congratulations, you bought a fantastic gun!

Thanks for all the replies. Looks like pocket carry won’t be a problem. I got to the point where I literally couldn’t see my J frame sights. I have other guns but figured I’d like to have 11 rds of 9mm at the ready in a compact pkg. We live in a wacky world these days. The Indiana mall shooting was a wake up call. If I ever had to engage at that distance I want to be prepared.

Bald1, Look into Magguts magazine spring kits. Turns 10rd magazines to 12's, and 12 round magazines into 14's. Also make them easier to load.

Pocket carried a 442 for years and have transitioned to a semi.

First it was a Glock 43 in an Uncle Mikes style holster. Very easy transition and not much notable weight change.

Have now moved to P365 with a Mika holster and can notice the weight difference but still an easy transition.

Wearing cargo shorts with a spare mag in a pocket holder in opposite pocket.

Had to move keys down to cargo pocket and wallet and phone in back pocket.

Thinking about an N8 holster for IWB carry. Comfort is top notch and I am chubby.

Great pistol. Just ordered an XL with red dot mounted to supplement the standard.

I'll be the naysayer here...

It works for me size-wise, but IMO it's just a bit too heavy.

When I pocket carry- mostly around the homestead, it's a Kel-Tec or a 442 or 43c, with the 442 being the heaviest. That's about the max weight for me.

If it's in or on the belt, it's the 365.

Wish I could. NY is the land of 10rd mags.

The only semi auto I pocket carry now & then is the LCP.

I have DeSantis Nemesis pocket holsters for both my Sig P365 as well as for a M60 J Frame. I carried my J Frame for at least 20 years with that holster and absolutely loved the Nemesis! The P365 replaced my M60-7 as an EDC about 4 years ago and there is no looking back! IMHO the DeSantis Nemesis is the best pocket holster available. :)

As much as I love leather, I don't like it in my pocket. It absorbs too much sweat and is too heavy and bulky. I've never warmed up to Kydex - hey I am a dinosaur! The DeSantis is ultra light, strong, sticky on the outside so it stays in the pocket when Roscoe is drawn. They are also very comfortable and cost a little over $20 bucks. Win, win ,win.

I have both Alabama and Vedder holsters for my P365. Both are well designed and well made. I tried Uncle Mike's and DeSantis Nemesis, but I like the kydex ones the best.

Galco Horsehide pocket holster for me.
