As I couldn´t make my mind I choose to buy the Mika and the Kramer. Both great holsters. Regarding the grips, are going to be Nill. Are made in Germany and is cheaper within the EU and also there´s no custom fees.

I like Ken Null's SPS pocket holster. Presents the revolver properly without shifting. Spegels, if they fit your hand.

I put a Hogue Bantam grip on my 36 and use the Nemesis pocket holster. Have been real happy with that setup.

Ive been pleased with the Don Hume No3 and the Uncle Mikes boot grips that my 442 came with. The holster conceals well the draw is nice and clean and the grips are stable and secure.

I too like the Galco, this one is carried everyday, the horse hide maintains it shape and it is stiff enough to hold in the pocket with positive draw.

I have a bunch of pocket holsters, but use this simple Uncle Mike's #3 the most.

My 642-1 is shown with Altamonts, but it usually wears stags or vintage woodies and a Tyler T-Grip.

Nice looking gun, but I'd rather see a picture of that vintage Land Cruiser.

Well, here's the bottom of it.

And another holster / grip pic so we don't get off-topic too far.

Although I am not familiar with the holster you mention, I can highly recommend the Nemesis pocket holster from DeSantis. It has served me very well when I carry my 640 in it. With regards to grips, I really like the rubber grips that came already on the gun. I believe they are Uncle Mike's Boot Grips.
+1. I carry my Model 36-no dash in a Nemesis. It's just a matter of the actual pocket configuration of your trousers.

I'm thinking about trying it to carry my Model 36 in the inside pocket of my jacket when I'm driving.

I use a Galco horsehide for my Seecamp .32ACP, and a Uncle Mike #3 for my J frame. I think the Uncle Mike is an underrated holster. It's cheap, but does a great job for me. I was going to buy a Mika, but he never returned my emails to answer my questions about it. No biggie - I know he's busy and he may have thought I was a lookie-loo. I'll eventually order one, but I am very happy with the Uncle Mike.

Regards,

Dave

I use a Nemesis pocket holster like many others but i find a small wood grip prints a lot less. These are old ones by Herrett.

I use a Mike for my J frame, and btw Bob Mike is a great guy. Give him another try. Maybe you wound up in his junk mail. When I wear my wrangler 20X jeans I have to switch to the Uncle Mike because it is a bit thinner and shorter. On the rare occasion I carry the Seecamp it goes in a Jerry Ahern pocket.

Bob Mika lost my order for a holster. when I called to see what was going on, he found my order and shipped my holster in about one week. I orded 2 more holsters and to make up for the mishap with the first, he sent out my new order in a week also. Can't ask for better service then that.

Nemesis Holster and Pachmayr Compac grips on my 642 and 640. I wear pleated front or corduroi (right way to spell it!) trousers so I have deep pockets and plenty of material so grips do not print. I tried all kinds of pretty wood grips and they all hurt when shooting. Compacs really tame "snap".

As far as grips go I've tried just about every possible shape & size available, For Carry Craig Spegal's Boot grip & Eagle Secret Service grips work the best for for my hands & pockets.
On Holsters I use a Kramer Pocket & a Uncle Mikes IWB with the clip removed, The Kramer holster is nice but weighs almost as much as my 342Ti, I have an old leather IWB with the clip removed that has been used for years & years & has molded itself nicely to the many J frames it's carried.
My favorite Hip Carry rig is a Sharkskin Rafter S.
Enjoy!!
