Have you guys who have mounted a bipod noticed a change in the point of impact from shooting over a rest?

In a word; YES. IMHO, it is from the different movement resultant given the barrel from recoil vibrations when changing from 'bedded' in forward rest bag to a much stiffer rest from the bipod. Anything that changes the pattern of the barrel oscillations will change impact. .......... Big Cholla

If you have it mounted on the barrel then yes your POI will change. You either sight in with the bipod and leave it on or install it on a free floating handguard

If mounted to the barrel or regular handguard, you are likely to see a POI change.
If mounted on a free floated handguard you should see very little, if any POI change.

Interesting, I had my harris bipod mounted on a MOE fore end using a polymer rail and a pretty hefty adaptor. I figured the change in POI was due to the additional weight of the bipod and mounting hardware.
